What You’ll Do (The "Hands-On" Mission) Tool & Equipment Mastery: Learn the names, uses, and maintenance of professional-grade tools—from moisture meters and industrial air movers to specialized plumbing augers. Field Shadowing: Ride along with lead technicians to active job sites. You’ll observe real-time emergency repairs, water extraction, and mold remediation. Job Site Prep & Safety: Assist in "prepping" a site for repair. This includes laying down protective floor coverings, setting up safety barriers, and ensuring the work zone is secure. Technical Documentation: Help technicians document the repair process by taking "Before & After" photos and logging equipment readings (like humidity and temperature levels). Shop Operations: Assist in the warehouse with "Kit Building"—organizing the specific parts and tools needed for the next day's plumbing or restoration "missions."
