CPC Cares: Food Security Advocate

CPC is a major partner of Long Island Cares—The Harry Chapin Food Bank. This role focuses on the logistical side of large-scale charity. What You’ll Do: Assist CPC employees during the Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Volunteers help sort thousands of pounds of donated goods, pack "Family Meal Boxes," and assist with the "Pack It Up For Kids" (P4K) program which provides weekend meals for students in need. Skills Learned: Logistics, inventory management, and community advocacy. Requirement: Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
