Organization Overview

Habitat for Humanity builds and renovates high-quality, affordable houses in partnership with low-to-moderate-income families. These families invest "sweat equity" (labor) into their own homes and others, eventually purchasing the home with an affordable mortgage. The organization also operates ReStore, a retail outlet that sells donated building materials and furniture to fund their mission.
